Played this course with a friend today (5/16/16). The course had not been cut in some time. The rough was three and a half inches deep and wet as was the grass just off the greens. You could not find your ball in either case. Three of the greens on the front nine were guarded by heavy rough right in front of the hole bordering the green. Many t boxes were placed in front of trees just thirty yards in front of the t box. The front nine mostly I considered to be "tricked out" for what purpose I do not know. The back nine was in better shape but many of the greens were shaved down to dirt with some areas browned out. Of particular concern on the back nine was that many fairways were dandelion fields rather than grass and balls hit in the fairway always settled in holes between the dandelion weeds and disallowed a decent lie to strike second shots even after the fairway was halved by a good t shot. I would not recommend anyone drive very far to play this golf course and even if I lived on base I would not play until I noticed the course was cut, better maintained, and weed killer was used in the fairways and overseed was used there to provide fairways which most good golf courses have. I am sorry to say this about a course on a good military base that serves our nation in such an honorable way.

A very well kept secret in the desert. There are three small lakes that are played as lateral hazards, lots of trees,, narrow fairways and elevated greens. Clean bathrooms on front and back nines. Refreshment cart and marshal services are provided for your convenience.
