The pro shop staff is great
The course is in the best shape that it’s been in for 2 or 3 years. The carts are clean and in good condition. This course is very enjoyable to play. The staff and golf pro are very friendly.
Need more rain
Love the mountain course but ruined my clubs hitting off the hard ground! Course needs Alota work! Prob won’t be back anytime soon!
Really rough conditions
Driving range was closed with no refunds. The course was probably in the worst shape of any course i’ve ever played. Dead greens and spotty hard fairways. The views were incredible but it’s not worth the money.
Great course but bad conditions
This is such a cool fund course but the condition is progressively deteriorating. It’s a real shame because this course design is so fun and the location is very cool.
Drought has hurt course
Always enjoy driving four hours to play this course every one to two years, but drought has severely hurt this course this year. They should’ve at least discounted the fees especially this late in season. Hopefully the winter and summer will have much needed moisture for this mountain course as during normal years, it’s one of the best destination places to play.
A little pricey for the conditions
Beautiful part of the country and the staff and restaurant was great. However the course is in very poor condition right now. The back 9 was more dirt in the fairways than grass. They lack sprinklers in the fairways and Mother Nature hasn’t given them enough moisture this year. I felt that the price to play was too high with the course in the shape that it was in.
Interesting layout
Very few holes need driver, course was very dry and is in beautiful setting...would play again
Cob
Course was absolutely in terrible shape . Dirt fairways with rocks no grass to speak of. Don’t waste the overpriced green fee. There are courses 1-2 hours away that are in great shape.
Great
Arrived earlier than tee time. Was able to go ahead
Pro offered us snacks for free!
Awesome Course
My son found this Course on-line. He, my husband and I played before he was off to College. It was so beautiful, and the Course was in the best shape I've seen in all the Courses we've played this year. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't get to finish our round due to medical emergency, but we'll be back and bring others to play.
This course needs a lot of work.
The fairways were horrible. greens not much better. On the other hand It's a very nice place for a golf course. a lot of wildlife, and very friendly staff. Will play again when course is in better condition.
A Golfing Oasis!
I you get the opportunity to play this course, I believe that you will be very impressed. It's surreal layout gives the course a different feel than many courses you may play over your lifetime.

A waste of money
Always loved playing here. It’s a drive from Santa Fe but was always worth it. The course have been let go down hill big time. Paid $52 to play a $5 course. I have never written a review like this, but the management deserves it for ruining such a beautiful course. Frankly I want my money returned but know it won’t happen. TeeOff you should review courses you put on you availability. J.S
Would give 5 stars, but...
I loved the layout. It was a lot of fun to play. It was very dry however. I think the summer has been hard on it. Also, pace of play was very slow. In the end, it was still worth it to me because the layout was so challenging and fun.
Good mountain course
Needs rain
Fairways are pretty beat up by lack of rain
Supposed to be cart paths only
Could be a stellar course
The place has so much going for it! It needs a lot of TLC. Greens and fairways were sparse. Beautiful views. Some blind shots. A lot of elevation changes. Greens have enough undulations to be interesting. Hope they can get it up to good playing conditions.
Awesome!!!
The course is amazing and so are the people. The layout is awesome and the scenery is absolutely amazing. The only thing was a little disappointing from previous times I have played was course condition, everything was a little dry and not as green as usual, but that’s understandable with the weather they had this year. I would totally recommend this course to anyone looking to have a fun relaxing round that doesn’t break the bank.
